Kisses for everyone!

So Taylore has learned to blow kisses. She'll do it when you are on the phone and ask for a kiss. She does it when she's across the room and you ask for a kiss. It's very cute of course!

Avery's Paying Football

So Avery had a choice this year to either play soccer or football because they run into each other with practice and games. So he chose football. Then he had another choice to make either tackle or flag. Of course he chose tackle. I don't have a pic with him in full gear yet, but it's coming. His team is the blue Colts and he has cheerleaders and all! His coach has been coaching for like 13 years and seems to be very good. Avery is among the small kids which is new for us. So we'll see how it goes!

Avery's First day of School

So I can't believe school started on Aug 5th this year. It's almost a whole week before last year. Avery is very excited to be in 2nd grade. He met his teacher the night before and seems to really like her. He's not in the same class as his best friend Eli, but he'll get to see him at lunch and recess. He's very excited to meet new people and see old friends from last year he didn't get to see over the summer. Taylore on the other hand was not happy to be leaving him in the classroom with out her. She goes to his room everyday looking for him and calling his name. It's cute!

Our Weekend In Tucson

Ok so we've had a busy summer and I can't believe it's over. There were a couple of thing that I wanted to go to up in Tucson. The weekend before school started we we and spent the weekend up there and had a great time. They have a Children's Museum up there that has a lot of hands on stuff for the kids to do. They had dinosaurs there which Avery loved.
They also had a Nasa space room where Taylore could run around and not be told "No don't touch!"

The next room we visited was the public safety room where they had a police motorcycle and a fire truck. They also had the fire coats and hats so the kids could see how heavy they are.

Then they had a room with a grocery store and different stations for health like a dental room and an x-ray room. The also had a dancing room and a rock climbing wall and goofy mirrors.

The kids had a great time and didn't want to leave. It was a great day and we had a lot of fun. We then went more northwest and found a hotel and had pizza in the room and then went swimming!

After swimming we went to walk around the mall ( we don't have a real mall here in Sierra Vista). We decided to get Taylore's ears peirced. It wasn't as bad as I though it was going to be. She cried only for a few minutes. Since then nobody has called her a boy!

So the next day we went to this place called Funtastics. It has tons of stuff to do. The biggest things the boys wanted to do was Go-Kart racing. It was fun to watch. Avery got to drive himself and then he went with Brian in the bigger ones.

They also had minature golf bumper boats and Taylore got to ride a carosel. There were a few kiddie rides we didn't go on and there as lazer tag that the boys didn't want to do. It was really hot so after golf Taylore and I went and found a bookstore! We had a great weekend
